Frequently Asked Questions
How much does tuition cost at A-Worthy?
Group classes of up to 6: O-Level English, O-Level Mathematics and Pre-IB Mathematics are SGD 280/month (Sec 1–2, Year 3) or SGD 320/month (Sec 3–4, Year 4); H1 General Paper and H2 Economics are SGD 360/month (JC 1) or SGD 400/month (JC 2). One-to-one coaching is SGD 120/session (O-Level, IB) or SGD 140/session (JC). Every fee includes materials, assessments and WhatsApp support, with no registration fee.
Are there any registration or material fees?
No. The monthly fee covers everything — lesson materials, practice papers, model answers, and access to the resource vault. There are no hidden fees.
When and how do I pay?
Fees are a fixed monthly amount, paid in advance by the 1st of each month by PayNow (preferred), bank transfer, or credit card via HitPay. A month with a fifth lesson costs the same. Lessons continue through the school holidays. If your child misses a lesson, you receive the recording; there are no make-up classes. Sec 4 and JC 2 groups end after the national examinations, and no fee is charged for the months after your child’s last paper. To stop, give one month’s notice.
What if my child is away for a few weeks?
Once a year, you can put your child’s place on hold for up to four consecutive weeks, for travel or any other reason. Tell us in writing (WhatsApp or email) at least two weeks before the first lesson your child will miss. No fee is charged for the weeks on hold, and your child’s place in the group is kept.
Is there a lock-in contract?
No. All programmes run month to month. To stop, give one month’s notice; there is no other penalty.
Why is the fee range (e.g. SGD 280–320) instead of a fixed price?
The lower fee is for the foundation years (Sec 1–2, Year 3, JC 1) and the higher fee for the exam years (Sec 3–4, Year 4, JC 2), which carry more exam-focused content and practice papers.
How does the money-back guarantee work?
If you’re not satisfied after the first month of lessons, tell us within 7 days of that month’s last lesson and we’ll refund the first month’s fees in full — no questions asked.
Can I switch between group and 1-to-1 coaching?
Yes. Many students start with group sessions and add occasional 1-to-1 coaching closer to exams. You can mix and match as needed.
Are there sibling or multi-subject discounts?
Yes, we offer a 10% sibling discount and a 5% discount for students enrolled in two or more subjects. Contact us for details.
